His Words

Jeremiah 1:7-9 But the Lord said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak. Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the Lord. Then the Lord put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the Lord said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.

So today while I was out and about, I came across a couple that was clearly having some type of issue, I felt in my spirit that should talk to them; however, I was like uh, no, don't think so... They're going to think I'm crazy... But the little voice became louder... So I said as they walk by me, if they stop, then ill approach them and speak to them, and guess what happened, they stopped... So then I said to God... Well they need some time alone to work on whatever issue they're having, so I will leave them alone... Again I heard that little voice in my spirit telling me to talk to them again... So now I say to God, "if they come back this way, I'll talk to them" and guess what happened, just take a guess... They turned around and walked directly into my path... And as they walked by, I stopped them and said " hello, my I pray for you?" And immediately the young lady started to cry... And as I grabbed their hands and began to pray with them, another woman came up and joined us... Wow! And what I mighty move of God there was... We prayed for a few minutes, they couple said thank you as they wiped away their tears, and they departed... And all I could do was sit in amazement at what God had just done...

As I began writing this, I felt, once again, the power of the Holy Spirit come upon me; although, this isn't my normal writing style, and this is not my usual "blog type" I know that this is a message that God wants you to understand, that He is with us always, and if we listen to our spirits, and if we make an attempt to hear His voice, God will show up and have His way... I am not sure what the issue was, nor does it even matter, in all honesty I may never see them again; but I do know one thing, that God will move in their situation, He is Faithful, and God will make a way for you as well, this is God's Promise to You... Helping Oneself In 2013, I became deathly ill, requiring several surgeries, five months in the hospital, and a long, slow, recovery period, one in which I am still participating, over ten years later. During this time, I met a young man from Pakistan, a young man who wanted to learn who Christ was, and how he could meet Him. To whom to you belong? I mean who is in control of your feelings, emotions, heart, mind, and soul? Is it yourself? Is it just time and chance? Is it the one who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy you? The truth is for many of us, we just don't know... For much of my life, I knew that there was a "god", I knew that we just didn't appear here on earth one day, but as far as having a "god" to whom I belonged was a foreign thought to me, I just didn't get it... I lived my life from one moment to the next, not really giving much thought to how the way I lived affected those around me; honestly, I didn't even care how my lifestyle affected myself, but one day, that would all change, I would have a God encounter... It was a point in my life in which everything had begun to unravel, my job, my personal life, everything... Surely I Come Quickly...

Hosea 4:6-7 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame... As I mentioned previously, I have just fallen in love with the Book of Hosea, and as prophecy continues to unfold before our eyes, it is important for us to understand what's going on around us, and we can only understand it by reading the Word and making it a part if who we are... Jesus Christ Himself read and studied the Word, and as a matter of fact, He quoted it often. Jesus Christ is our sinless and Holy example, and He expected the Apostles and all who followed Him to know the Word themselves...
