God Will Give You Joy!

Isaiah 61:10 I will greatly rejoice in the Lord , my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels... What a wonderful verse, it proclaims the Joy of The Lord, followed by two terms, that many of us are familiar with today, the Bridegroom and the Bride. I will greatly rejoice in The Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God! If you are anything like me, you have not always experienced the joy of The Lord, not because of anything God has done, but because of my own actions as well as my doubt and unbelief. Although I was raised in church, as a teen, I turned away from my Christ centered upbringing and turned to a life that was clearly against what I had been taught, and in all honesty, seemed to be exactly what the enemy of my soul desired. Now, the point of this message is not to glorify my past; ther...

Surely I Come Quickly...

Hosea 4:6-7 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame... As I mentioned previously, I have just fallen in love with the Book of Hosea, and as prophecy continues to unfold before our eyes, it is important for us to understand what's going on around us, and we can only understand it by reading the Word and making it a part if who we are... Jesus Christ Himself read and studied the Word, and as a matter of fact, He quoted it often. Jesus Christ is our sinless and Holy example, and He expected the Apostles and all who followed Him to know the Word themselves... One example of this can be found in Matthew 22:31 when speaking, He stated "Have you not read?" He spoke these words In expectation that ...

Hope...

As Resurrection Sunday approaches, Easter Sunday as is commonly referred, it is important for us to take a look back at what, through the Blood of Christ, was gained on that most terrible day... Jesus Christ, the embodiment of God in the flesh, stepped down from His Holy dwelling place, and came to the Earth He created, so that by His own Blood, we may be reconciled back to Him... In other words, Jesus Christ became the ultimate sacrifice; for as we know there must be a blood sacrifice in the form of a lamb, for our sin to be remitted. (Exodus 12:5, 34:20) Colossians 1:19-23 For it pleased the Father that in him (Jesus Christ) should all fulness dwell; And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say , whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven. And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy ...

The Comforter...

Ecclesiastes 4:1-3 So I returned, and considered all the oppressions that are done under the sun: and behold the tears of such as were oppressed, and they had no comforter; and on the side of their oppressors there was power; but they had no comforter. Wherefore I praised the dead which are already dead more than the living which are yet alive. Yea, better is he than both they, which hath not yet been, who hath not seen the evil work that is done under the sun... This world of ours can be a troubling place, even for Solomon who, in his time, was not only the richest individual in the known world, he was a world traveler and a respected king. Solomon stated that all around the world he found oppression of the people by those in power, he saw evil works everywhere, and he considered the dead to be luckier than the living because they did not have to witness "the evil work that is done under the sun" but Christ Jesus came to the earth, both God and man, to change everything, He...
