  Helping God's People. Helping Oneself In 2013, I became deathly ill, requiring several surgeries, five months in the hospital, and a long, slow, recovery period, one in which I am still participating, over ten years later. During this time, I met a young man from Pakistan, a young man who wanted to learn who Christ was, and how he could meet Him. Because I was in the hospital, and later at home on bed rest, I had plenty of time to teach him Bible Studies, while sharing the Love of Christ with him. Today, Sajin Samuel Masah is the Pastor of the church, founded by the late Bishop Kenneth Phillips, and myself, in Kenewal, Pakistan, with just 15 young people, eager to learn about the Love of Christ. Yes and Amen

Yes and Amen The faithfulness of God is without question: this statement is much more than a simple opinion, it is to myself, and so many others around the world, a fact that has been affirmed time and time again. Just over twelve years ago, at the time of the writing of this post, I was rushed to the hospital with a serious back injury resulting in a lengthy hospital stay, totaling twelve months, the first five of those concurrently, between the years 2013 and 2015. Due to the injury, I had to undergo several minor procedures, six back surgeries, and years of physical and occupational therapy, as well as manual therapy, speech  therapy, and just about any other kind of therapy you can think of.  It was a balmy and wet Friday in October when while taking a shower, my legs would give way after a ( My Lower Back After Injury) sharp and excruciating pain in my lower back.
